Wine tasting in the Cellar Biondi on Mt Etna

You will be special guest at Biondi Cellar, a 1800 ancient cellar, still producing only few thousands bottles per year. Take the chance to enjoy the tour of the old vineyards and a visit of the cellar.
This is a unique opportunity to try some of our Sicily's rarest wines. You will be guided through a wine tasting of 5 top wines. Biondi's wines, exported to US and Europe only in very small quantities, are hard to find even in Sicily and they have recently won several international awards.
The 3 vineyards belonging to the farm are located in Trecastagni, a small village at Etna slopes, few kilometres from Catania. Grapes are grown with traditional methods and in a full care for soil. Vineyards, one close to the other, creates wines having very different features.
