Half Day or Full Day excursion on Etna

You will visit the highest active volcano in Europe, Etna, choosing between a half day or full day excursion.

Half Day: from 9:00 to 15:30. Walking time: 4 hours.
First stop Piano Provenzana, North Etna, the ski station in the municipality of Linguaglossa, reconstructed after a lava flow in 2002. You will start the trek, following the paths of the Park, in the direction of the most interesting lateral eruptions of recent years. You will visit an easily accessible horizontal lava cave.

Full Day: from 9:00 to 18:00. Walking time: 4.5 hours.
On board the Jeep, you will cross the dirt track to reach the lower part of the Bove Valley (Fontana Mountain), where you will be able to take some unforgettable shots.
After a brief stop at a refuge, you will face a trek of 4.5 hours of medium difficulty, with an ascent of approximately 750 metres. From the Citelli Refuge you will reach the 'Serra delle Concave'. Along the journey you will meet many natural cavities that may be explored.
Amongst the places you will see along your way: the Pietracannone refuge, the Fontana Mountain, the Bove Valley and Piano Provenzana.
