A typical Sicilian lunch at a beautiful vineyard on the foothills of Etna, in Passopisciaro (CT). The Etna Wine company has always been dedicated to welcoming and guiding visitors in the discovery of the wines of this region, and of course their winecellar!
In October Sundays are grape harvest days, in which you will be able to help out. You will be equipped with secateurs and baskets for the harvesting.
With a four course lunch with dessert included, you will have the chance to taste exclusively local products: the menu indeed varies according to the season. You'll find Sicilian "caponata", local cheeses and meat cuts, fresh pasta and grilled sausage.
After lunch you will be taken to visit the traditional "Palmento", where the grapes are pressed and fermented. You'll also have the chance to visit the winecellar and the vineyard's museum, and to taste a sweet wine with typical biscuits.
