Read moreThe 'Ape Calessino' is among the most original and unusual means of transportation available to take a spin around the city and enjoy its wonders. Just like in a 60s film, you can admire the beauties of Taormina and Castelmola like a local on board the 'Ape', or calessino bee!
You will visit 'Casa Cuseni', a charming villa planned and constructed for painter Robert Hawthorn Kitson in 1905. The villa is in the Art Nouveau style and has hosted prominent guests such as Greta Garbo, Tennessee Williams, Roald Dahl and houses an important art collection, of which there is a Picasso and a piece by Henry Moore. After the guided visit, the driver will take you to discover Castelmola, with its nearby panoramic view at 'Belvedere di Madonna Rocca' and Sanctuary. Next up will be the castle and rural church of San Biagio. You'll be able to take some photos in the famed piazza where you'll also find the Turrisi bar. After your visit to Castelmola, the driver will take you to Isola Bella, or the Beautiful Island, and finally to Villa Mon Repos, the former casino of Taormina.
Each vehicle can hold a maximum of 3 passengers.

- To make a reservation, a prepaid deposit of 20% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance will be paid directly on site in cash or by credit card.

Terms of use
- The guided tours of Casa Cuseni are held every day, at 11.00 am for English tours and at 4.00 pm for Italian tours. In case of adverse weather conditions it will be possible to agree on another date. If it is not possible to organize another date, you will be refunded the amount paid.

- In case of withdrawal, the deposit paid at booking will be in no way refundable.
