The ascent to the summit craters of Mount Etna is one of the most coveted excursions an aspiring hikers can make.
You will be accompanied by an authorised alpine and volcano guide, with whom you will marvel at the beauty and wonder of the highest active volcano in Europe, at 3,300m asl.

Departing from Sapienza Refuge, in Nicolosi, the cable car will take you up to 2,504m asl, after which you will take an off-road jeep up to 2900mt. From here you will continue in trekking in order to reach the altitude of 3,340m. Carried out a long pause near the craters, you will descend in direction of 2002 craters and before heading up again in cable car to the departure point (Sapienza Refuge).

Duration: 6/7 hours (depends on the rhythm of the group).

Equipment

The availability of the excursion depends on weather conditions, volcanic activity and the achievement of a group of 8 people.
Excursion is absolutely prohibited to people who have heart problems and asthmatics.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel the day before the experience, no refund will be considered.If you cancel from 4 up 2 days before, there is a 20% cancellation fee.
