Inside Banksy – Unauthorized Exhibition

From October 7, 2023 to January 7, 2024, Palazzo Trinacria is the stage for “Inside Banksy – Unauthorized Exhibition” the first immersive exhibition dedicated to the brilliant British writer, organized by Crossmedia Group and curated by the Pietro Barbaro Foundation.

This event transforms the palace into an immersive digital experience, a perfect place to explore Banksy’s vibrant and provocative world.

The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with last access at 5:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday), and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with last access at 7 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday).

During the exhibition period, the “Trinacria Immersive Art Space” makes its spaces available to host events, including those of a private nature. The goal is to introduce the fascinating rooms of the Trinacria Palace not only to Palermo residents, but also to a wider audience. The palace represents the historic residence of the Barbaro family and the headquarters of the Foundation.

Inside Banksy” welcomes visitors daily to an immersive 360-degree multimedia space, offering a multisensory experience through images, lights, colors and music. This experience literally envelops the public, transporting them to the heart of street art.

The most striking part of the event is undoubtedly in the Immersive Room. Here, the floor and walls of the Trinacria Palace are immersed in a never-before-seen narrative lasting about 35 minutes, presenting the works of the mysterious British artist. This extraordinary environment offers a unique experience, transporting viewers on an immersive journey into Banksy’s world.

The Social Museum

The events in Palermo do not end here! Starting Dec. 1 at 2 Giorgio Castriota Street, “The Social Museum” the first digital museum in southern Italy designed specifically for selfie lovers, comes to life. With 25 spaces set up with colorful and fun sets, this museum offers the opportunity to take unforgettable photos and videos.

From ball pools to cosmic landscapes, each installation is designed to capture your creativity and bring to life unique visual content to share on your social channels.
